AlpacaMAP Manual
The Australian Johne's Disease Market Assurance Program for Alpaca has been developed by members of the Australian Alpaca Association, the Australian Camelid Veterinary Association, the Animal Health Committee and the National Johne's Disease Coordinator. Advice has also been received from the Commonwealth, state and territory government animal health authorities.
Following approval of the Pooled Faecal Culture Test for alpaca an Appendix 13 has been added to the AlpacaMAP. This document is only available from the website and will be incorporated in the manual when the AlpacaMAP manual is next revised. Details of the Pooled Faecal Culture for Alpaca are available here:

Q Alpaca
Q Alpaca is a voluntary alpaca quality assurance program maintained by the Australian Alpaca Association. Alpaca growers who participate in Q Alpaca work with MAP approved veterinarians. To find out more about Q Alpaca view the Guidelines for veterinarians (PDF).
