Two new positions - Livestock Welfare and Laboratory Standards Project Officers

Working with senior management, you will assist in all aspects of project management including communication, planning, governance and stakeholder management.  You will be challenged by the need to ensure that project objectives are met on time, within budget and all deliverables are developed to the highest quality.

Tenders

Suitably qualified individuals or organisations are invited to submit tenders to undertake a consultancy that will:

  • Identify the significant animal health conditions that cause wastage in abattoirs or loss of production ‘on-farm’.
  • Quantify the costs to the supply chain and the likely benefits that will accrue from providing feedback to producers.

The successful consultant will be expected to have an extensive understanding of the meat processing sector and on-farm production systems, as well as a capability to undertake economic analyses.

Successful progression to a contract is dependent upon final agreement on funding arrangements to support this consultancy.
