Australia has recently had a serious reminder about the importance of biosecurity. Simple biosecurity measures can minimise the risks that pests and diseases pose to livestock in Australia and now there is a new tool to help you stay on top of the issues.

Farm Biosecurity News is a free monthly e-newsletter all about on-farm biosecurity. It features news, case studies and insights into what livestock industries are doing both at home and overseas. Produced by Animal Health Australia as part of its Farm Biosecurity program, Farm Biosecurity News is a handy resource for livestock producers, extension officers, vets and others, providing regular updates on farm biosecurity issues and trends as well as highlighting organisations that are leading the way in farm biosecurity.

Each edition examines one of the top five Farm Biosecurity issues; takes a look at biosecurity trends at home and abroad; provides an update of member news and follows the latest Farm Biosecurity initiatives. It finishes with a media snapshot of recent biosecurity news.
