In August 2004, Animal Health Australia piloted a one-day workshop to assist producers in developing their skills in animal health risk assessment and management. The course has been made available to state departments of primary industries. Producers who attend the workshop will commence developing a Biosecurity Plan for their enterprise and will be well placed to identify how diseases spread and likely sources of infection.
